Terms and Conditions for ESOL Awards Live Classes

1. Introduction

1.1 These Terms and Conditions govern the use of ESOL Awards Limited’s live classes service.

1.2 By booking or attending a class, you agree to comply with these terms.

1.3 These terms ensure a fair and structured learning environment for all students and teachers.

2. Booking and Payment

2.1 All class bookings must be made through the official ESOL Awards platform.

2.2 Payments must be completed in advance, and credits will be added to the user’s account upon successful payment confirmation.

2.3 All credits purchased are non-transferable and can only be used by the registered account holder.

2.4 Credits must be used within their validity period, as specified at the time of purchase, and unused credits may expire.

2.5 Classes can only be booked two (2) hours in advance.

3. Cancellations and Rescheduling

3.1 Students may cancel or reschedule a class through the official platform.

3.2 Cancellations made less than 2 hours before the scheduled class time will be charged in full, and the class credit will not be refunded.

3.3 Teachers may request to reschedule a booked class 2 hours before the booked time. Students will receive an email once the teacher's request is approved.

4. Conduct and Participation

4.1 Students must conduct themselves respectfully during live classes and follow the guidelines set by their instructors.

4.2 Any inappropriate behaviour, including but not limited to harassment, discrimination, or disruption, may result in immediate suspension or termination of access to the service without a refund.

4.3 Students are expected to join their sessions on time. Instructors are only required to wait for 10 minutes beyond the scheduled start time before marking the student as absent.

4.4 Students must ensure they are in a quiet environment with a stable internet connection to facilitate effective learning.

5. Technical Issues

5.1 ESOL Awards is not responsible for technical issues on the student’s end, such as internet connectivity problems, device malfunctions, or software-related errors.

5.2 If a class is disrupted due to technical issues caused by the ESOL Awards platform, the company will assess the situation and may offer a rescheduled session at its discretion.

5.3 Students are encouraged to test their audio, video, and connection before the session to minimise technical disruptions.

6. Changes to Terms

6.1 ESOL Awards reserves the right to update these terms at any time.

6.2 Users will be notified of any significant changes via email or platform announcements.

6.3 Continued use of the service after any changes signifies acceptance of the revised terms.

7. Privacy and Data Protection

7.1 ESOL Awards collects and processes personal data in accordance with its Privacy Policy.

7.2 Student information, including recorded sessions (if applicable), will be handled securely and only used for educational or administrative purposes.

7.3 Students must not share their account credentials or session links with unauthorised individuals.
